Each ShipCelero plan includes a monthly label allowance. Understanding how usage is counted helps you plan your shipping volume and avoid unexpected charges.
What counts as a label
- Each outbound shipping label = 1 credit
- Each return label = 1 credit
- Multi-package shipments: each package label = 1 credit (a 3-package shipment uses 3 credits)
- Failed booking attempts do not use a credit if the label was not successfully created
When credits reset
Credits reset on the first day of each billing period. For monthly plans this is the same date each month. For annual plans it is the same date each month throughout the year.
Unused credits do not roll over to the next period.
Running out of credits
When you reach your label limit, ShipCelero shows a warning before the booking is confirmed. You can:
- Confirm and continue — the label is created as an overage label and billed at the end of the month
- Upgrade your plan — move to a higher plan before continuing
- Wait for reset — if your period resets soon and volume allows
