If a label fails to create, ShipCelero shows an error message from the carrier. Here are the most common errors and how to fix them.

Carrier credentials invalid or expired

The error message will reference "authentication", "unauthorized", or similar. Go to Settings → Integrations, re-enter your carrier credentials, and try again. Some carriers periodically rotate API keys — check your carrier portal.

Service not available for destination

The selected service does not ship to the destination country, or your carrier account does not have that service enabled. Try a different service, or contact your carrier to enable the route.

Address validation failed

The carrier rejected the address. Check for:

  • Incorrect postal code for the city
  • Missing house number
  • Unsupported special characters in the address
  • Country mismatch (the country selected does not match the postal code)

Package weight or size exceeded

The parcel exceeds the carrier's weight or dimension limit for the selected service. Each service has maximum weight limits (typically 20–35 kg) and size restrictions. Check the carrier's documentation or try a different service.

Insufficient label credits

You have reached your monthly label limit. ShipCelero shows a confirmation prompt — confirm to create an overage label, or upgrade your plan from the Billing page.

Missing required field

Some carriers require fields that are optional for others (phone number, email, company name). Check the error message for the specific field name and fill it in.

If you receive a cryptic error code from the carrier, include it when contacting support — it helps us identify the issue quickly.
